Privacy Policy

Ravo ("the Bot") is a Discord bot that helps communities moderate and manage their servers. This policy explains what data the Bot processes.
Data we process
- Server configuration: server, channel, role and message IDs and the settings server staff choose (automod rules, welcome messages, tags, etc.).
- Moderation data: moderation cases (user ID, moderator ID, reason, timestamps) and warnings.
- Activity data: per-member XP, level and message counts for leveling; AFK status; highlight keywords; reminders; afk/counting state; and aggregate daily counts of messages, joins, leaves and moderation actions (analytics).
- Logging: if staff enable logging, the Bot posts events (edited/deleted message content, joins, leaves, role/nickname changes, voice activity) to a channel the server chooses, and keeps a short searchable summary of each event (7 days on the free plan, 90 days on Premium). Message content in logs is only what was visible to the Bot.
- Tickets, appeals and suggestions: the text you submit, and ticket transcripts, which are delivered to the server's staff and to the member who opened the ticket.
- Temporary data: the most recently deleted message per channel is kept in memory for up to 10 minutes for the staff "snipe" command, and is never written to disk.
- Dashboard sign-in: if you use the web dashboard we receive your Discord user ID, display name and avatar through Discord OAuth2 (scope: identify) and store them in a signed session cookie. We do not receive your email address or password.
- Subscriptions: Premium purchases are processed by Discord (or our payment provider). We only receive the server ID and the subscription status/expiry; we never see payment details.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or read direct messages other than interactions you initiate with the Bot (for example a ban appeal).
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the Bot is in the server. When the Bot is removed, server data may be deleted after a reasonable period. Moderation cases are kept until deleted by server staff (free plan views are limited to 90 days). To request deletion of your personal data, contact the bot owner through the support channel listed on the bot profile. We will delete data that is not required for security or legal reasons.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data. Data is processed by Discord (the platform the Bot runs on), by our hosting provider, and, for Premium purchases, by Discord or the payment provider shown at checkout. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users and the service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact the bot owner through the support channel listed on the bot profile. Server owners can also remove most server data themselves by removing the Bot or using its configuration commands.
Security
Data is stored in a protected database on our server. Dashboard access requires Discord login and the Manage Server permission in the relevant server.
Children
The Bot follows Discord's minimum age requirement and is not intended for users below it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Bot changes. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision, and material changes will be announced in our support server.
Contact
Questions or requests: contact the bot owner through the support channel listed on the bot profile.
